Slow Start

Hey look, two blog posts in two days.  New record.

After yesterday’s post I received some positive reinforcement, a couple of blank stares and one suggestion to buy a coffee maker.  I appreciate all of it, but again, I’m sticking to the instant crystals.

A coffee maker would only serve to impress guests in my home.  Or at least the guests who are impressed with beverage making implements.  They also will be floored by my vintage juicer and collection of used tea bags (up to 17!).

I think I saw an article on the internet outlining how to make an improvised “hookah” device out of a coffee maker.  Hmm, maybe I will buy one –  I can hookah brother up!

Moving on, if you recall from yesterday’s post, January 28th, 2009 was going to be a banner day for your’s truly.  I had a lot to accomplish and the mindset to do it.  And let me tell you friends, the challenges were met!  Goals were setup and I knocked them down, with little to no regard for the safety of myself or others.  Simply put, I was kicking ass.

Then I turned the Xbox off because I get a headache if I ass-kick for too long.

Back in the real world it was time to focus on finding ways to be my own boss and forever leave the drudgery of the workaday world.  So, when faced with such a dilema, I did what any red-blooded, entrepreneurially-spirited American would do; I took a big ol’ nap.

I woke up refreshed and energized, ready to tackle any challenge.  Unfortunately, it was 5:12 PM and I DO NOT work after 5.

Dude, kudos for grabbing the day, but don’t be lazy, at least get a french press.
